The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) says it has expelled 14 students from school and barred them from partaking in any West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the country until further notice. The Leadership of Teachers and Trainees Advocacy (TTA) says it is calling on the Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to with immediate effect sack the headmaster of Tweneboa Kodua SHS saying he is the cause of the violence which occurred in the school on Monday. According to TTA, after last Monday's incident, it gathered that the headmaster's robust and fierce autocratic style of leadership in the school led to the mess. The Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has confirmed the NPP government will continue to deliver on its commitment to education at all levels as an important lever for meeting the development aspirations of the Ghanaians.
