The Minister for Gender and Social Protection, Cynthia Mamle Morrison has confirmed that about 2,980,000 pupils in 8,683 public basic schools are benefiting from Government's one hot and nutritious meal directive. According to her, the programme have been able to build a capacity of 9,178 caterers and cooks in 11 regions in innovative nutrition training to improve the quality of meals served to the pupils.
