President Akufo-Addo has confirmed that although the active cases of covid-19 in the country are reducing, thirteen (13) new people have lost their lives bringing the total number of deaths to three hundred and ten (310). According to President Akufo-Addo, the three hundred and ten (310) deaths come out of a total number of five hundred and ten thousand, and seventy-four (510,074) persons tested representing 0.5%. President Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians that there will be peace and stability as the country gears towards the electioneering campaign. According to President Akufo-Addo, “The Inspector-General of Police, and the other heads of the law enforcement agencies, have made abundantly clear their determination to enforce the laws of the land, including the law banning vigilantism, in an impartial, even-handed manner, without recourse to political colour, to secure the peace of the nation.
