A nine-year-old boy has been killed in an inferno after his stepfather set their home ablaze at Medoma in the Ashanti Region Monday dawn. The blaze swept through four rooms in the apartment in which they live, affecting other families. The man, known only as Agyemang, his wife and twin of the deceased, sustained various degrees of injury. Apam turned red today as thirteen children aged between 12 to 15 years who got drowned last week have received mass burial today. In what can be described as a sorrowful situation, the family members who made it to the Catholic morgue could not control themselves as tears run down their cheeks. South Dayi lawmaker Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has said that Publishers of the new textbooks, which have stirred public uproar as a result of seemingly disparaging references to some personalities and ethnic groups, had an agenda to disparage Ewes. In a tweet, Mr Defeamkor said “It’s Sunday. I’m supposed to have my quiet moment but I’m upset. “This NaCCA approved textbook that has clearly made it an agenda to disparage me and my heritage as an Ewe can no longer be contained. The Ghana Police Service (GPS) says it will be embarking on a mass burial for about two hundred (200) unidentified and unclaimed bodies as part of routine measures to decongest the hospital's mortuary. The Ghanaian gays and lesbians Community seems to be getting stronger by the day. After their office was raided recently in Accra, the national capital of Ghana, the LGBT+ Rights group in Ghana is now raising funds to purchase its own office. In a tweet sighted by African Entertainment, the group announced the creation of the LGBT Rights Ghana Community Support Fund. The aim is to raise $100,000 to purchase its office space.
