Giving his account on the score-card show, he said "There is only one place, to begin with; that is; we have to commend the organizers, Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the security personnel. They did a splendid job on the day" READ ALSO: https://www.thinknewsonline.com/post/empire-star-bryshere-gray-sentenced-to-jail-in-domestic-violence-case "Now, we spoke about the importance of maintaining the 25% fans allowance there, the importance of not allowing over the number to gain access to the stadium and they did very well" The Sports Journalist also added that the security personnel who were present at the stadium mounted roadblocks few meters in and around the stadium and prevent persons without appropriate accreditations from entering. "In fact, only those with tickets and accreditation were allowed through those roadblocks into the stadium and that was a good job. You could see that there was heavy security present" READ ALSO: https://www.thinknewsonline.com/post/we-suspect-arson-targeted-at-destruction-and-concealment-of-material-evidence-at-tano-south-ndc He further described the communication of the security personnel in and around the stadium as top-notch adding they assured fans with tickets and accreditation of their safety. "If you were a fan with tickets and accreditation, they kept on assuring you that they were there for you, you had nothing to worry, don't be intimidated by their presence and that is what we want to see from them and you have to give them credit for that" On his take on the super-clash, Mr. Koranteng commended the two teams for comporting themselves throughout the game. Look if you are talking about an advert for Ghana Football, this is a perfect advert from the organization to the security, to the fans, to the players, performers, to the Head Coaches; everything was on point. This is what we love to see" He was confident that with what was witnessed at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, the bring-back-the-love campaign will yield good results. It was this game, he had to prove himself on the biggest stage and he did excellently well in terms of the way he approached the game and the dominance. This game should easily have been more than one goal for Accra Hearts of Oak especially in the second half where based on first-half showings from Kotoko, the feeling around the stadium was that we will see a different Kotoko in the second half but it wasn't to be" Watch the video below: Story by: Joshua Kwabena Smith

  • Macron's 'Choose France' Summit Rolls Out Red Carpet To JP Morgan, Global CEOs

President Emmanuel Macron is to declare that Paris is back on the map of global finance on Tuesday when he inaugurates JP Morgan's new trading hub in the French capital – which he hopes will attract more bankers leaving post-Brexit Britain. The US bank's chief executive Jamie Dimon will be one of almost 120 international CEOs traveling to Versailles on Monday for Macron's now traditional "Choose France" summit in which he pitches France as an investment destination. The day after, Dimon and Macron will visit JP Morgan's new hub in central Paris, where about 440 employees will be based, many having relocated from London. READ ALSO: https://www.thinknewsonline.com/post/empire-star-bryshere-gray-sentenced-to-jail-in-domestic-violence-case Macron's advisers say that is testament to the appeal of France's pro-business reforms implemented since the former investment banker's election in 2017. Brexit JP Morgan's new trading floor is the latest concrete example of how Brexit is changing Europe's financial landscape since January. Paris is at the vanguard of attempts to relocate the clearing of euro derivatives from London to the EU after Britain's "Big Bang" liberalization of financial rules in the 1980s drained EU financial capital of such activity and staff. READ ALSO: https://www.thinknewsonline.com/post/we-suspect-arson-targeted-at-destruction-and-concealment-of-material-evidence-at-tano-south-ndc Global banks like JP Morgan have long used London as their EU gateway, but with Brexit largely severing Britain from the bloc's financial market, banks have spent millions of dollars on hubs in Paris, Frankfurt, and elsewhere in the bloc to avoid disruption. EY, a consulting group, has calculated that over 7,500 financial jobs and $1.3 trillion in assets have moved from London to the EU. Tipping point After these initial moves, financial firms are now deciding if there is enough business in London and the EU for two operations to be profitable. New Financial think tank said in a report in April that Paris has attracted 102 of 440 firms from Britain that opened units in the EU, second only to Dublin's 135. Officials say past tax measures have helped create 3,000 new finance jobs in Paris since Brexit and no new perks are planned this week when Macron courts executives in the palace of Versailles.
