The Founder of Obaa Rose Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Obaa Rose has donated an undisclosed amount of money and food items worth thousands of cedis to some persons living with disabilities at Kasoa, a community in the Central Region. According to her, the kind gesture forms part of her social and corporate responsibility. In an exclusive interview with Thinknewsonline.com, she said "I am a mother of three children and doubles as a widow. After the demise of my late husband, things became very difficult and as a person also living with a disability, I went through a lot even in my state. During the trial moment, some philanthropists came my way and offered support to me of which I am using to take care of PWDs. After coming on board, they also secure 'Obaa Rose Tv', a YouTube channel that deals strictly with the plight of persons living with disabilities" She also mentioned that through the Obaa Rose TV on YouTube, she has gained enough recognition and that has paved the way for other PWD to start reaching out to her for all sorts of help. "I virtually emptied my bank account for my people but that did not deter me from wanting to help the needy in the society" she answered. Obaa Rose revealed that she used her YouTube channel to solicited funds for PWDs. "Mothers of Special children known as Cerebral Palsy were my target for this season. The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has taken a decision to terminate the appointment of Black Stars Coach Charles Akonnor and his two Assistants with immediate effect. This follows the receipt of the Technical Report from the Head Coach of the Senior National Team and the report from the Black Stars Management Committee following Ghana’s Group G World Cup qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa. The Executive Council after considering the two reports have decided to terminate its relationship with the Head Coach C. K Akonnor and the two Assistants. The Executive Council has formed a three (3) Member Committee made up of Vice President Mark Addo, Upper East Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salifu Zida and Dr. Randy Abbey to find a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the Black Stars within the next 72 hours. Popular Ghanaian fetish priestess now turned evangelist, Nana Agradaa has clapped back at the man of God Reverend Owusu Bempah after their clash yesterday. Reverend Owusu Bempah and Nana Agradaa clashed in the late afternoon of Thursday after the man of God stormed the house of the fetish priestess with his boys. Reports say that Owusu Bempah stormed Nana Agradaa’s house to settle scores with her. In a video seen on the internet, Owusu Bempah was seen at the entrance of Nana Agradaa with his boys daring her to come out of her house because she threatened him. According to Owusu Bempah, Nana Agradaa threatened to deal with him spiritually so he came with his boys to avail himself physically to Nana Agradaa to deal with him as she threatened. In a fresh rebuttal, Nana Agradaa has slammed Owusu Bempah and has called him a coward. According to her, she instructed the gates of her house to be opened to the man of God to come for her but was scared to enter the house. According to Nana Agradaa, Owusu Bempah came to her house to kill her physically when his curses and threats did not work. She mocked Owusu Bempah that he has lost the battle for being a coward. The Ghanaian man of God and the fetish priestess turned evangelist have been feuding on on social media for some time now. Young pastors and men believed to be affiliated to Owusu Bempah have warned Agradaa to stop insulting their boss online but she rather intensified her verbal attack on the man of God. According to Nana Agradaa, who now responds to Evangelist Patricia Oduro after her infamous repentance, Rev Owusu Bempah is not a proper man of God but a hypocrite. At the back of this back and forth online, Rev Owusu Bempah with thugs stormed the home of Nana Agradaa to face her. However, when they got to her premises, they stopped in front of her gate and dared her to come out but she refused. Nana Agradaa rather showed on an upstairs balcony of her home to respond to them and also dared them to enter her house. According to her, they were wielding guns and knives. The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mavis Hawa Koomson has hinted that until God decides to do his own corrections, neither her Ministry nor the Akufo-Addo government can do anything about the wash ashore of fishes and dolphins at some beaches in the country. According to Madam Koomson, the recent wash ashore of fishes and dolphins which occurred in the country was natural and could not have been curtailed. Addressing Journalists in Accra on Sunday, she said "So we all know this is a natural occurrence and there’s nothing we can do about it unless the creator himself decides to do the correction. We cannot do the correction" “Ours is to find out, investigate and know what exactly the problem is. If it is a natural occurrence, there’s nothing we can do,” The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture together with her team and the police visited various locations which witnessed the incident and appealed to the residents who had stocks of the fishes and dolphins to return them. While some of the fishes and dolphins were retrieved, some other residents refused to give them out. Madam Hawa Koomson sighted Mexico as a country which is experiencing same faith. “It happens as, at that time, it wasn’t only in Ghana; other countries also experienced it. So, for example, Mexico also experienced the same thing. So it’s a natural occurrence, and there is nothing we can do, but we only know the causes of the kills,” Background It will be recalled that there were reports of dead fishes and dolphins found to have been washed ashore some beaches in the country. The incident sparked lots of controversies as it was reported that some persons ended up selling that dolphins and dead fishes to some residents and market women at outrageous prices. According to Kofi Jamar, his love for the act grew so stronger leaving him with no option than to sometimes skip school for the studios. Speaking on an Accra-based television station, the rapper said "In Kumasi, Bantana has been tagged as the entertainment hub. It was there, I discover that I had a love and passion for music. Ghanaian Hiplife Artiste, Ghanaian Musician, Kenneth Kyeremateng, known in showbiz as Kwame Yogot has revealed that he had no option than to run a beer bar in his hometown after all attempts to do music in Accra failed. According to Kwame Yogot, although he had the vibe and zeal to perform, it was difficult getting a Record Label to sign him. Speaking on an Accra-based television station, he said "I started from Adom Kasahare in 2008 but all attempts to get the breakthrough failed so I had to return to my home town and that is where I turned to run a beer bar with the hope of making it in life" He added that life in Accra during heydays was very tough however, he never lost hope but rather pushed harder. The Hiplife Artiste further disclosed that his breakthrough befell him after he received a call from Celebrated Media Personality, Andy Dosty who got him signed unto Sky Record Label. "I was invited again to Accra by my friend but it turned out that things were still not going well so this time around, I decided to go back and run my beer bar then I spoke to Andy Dosty on the phone. I met him, he introduced me to a Record Label and this is where I am now" he recounted. "I released one with Yaa Pono dubbed 'Ne D3', but on our way, Andy Dosty asked me which Artiste would I love to have a collaboration with and I said Kuami Eugene.
