Information reaching ThinkNews Online indicates that some scores of armed men numbering eight have attacked the Flagbearer of United Peoples Party (UPP), Akwasi Odike has been attacked.
According to sources, the armed men are suspected to be followers of the governing New Patriotic Party.
Narrating the incident, the critique of the NPP said "Let me tell Agyemang and his cohorts that I, Akwasi Addai Odike is not afraid of them a bit. We all live in Kumasi and nobody can threaten my life. Agyemang, I repeat, I am ready for you and I am not afraid to die with you,”
The disqualified Flagbearer hinted that should such incident happen again, he will ensure he protects himself.
“I have my gun anywhere I go and I will defend myself anytime, any day,” he noted
The unfortunate incident occurred at the premises of Kumasi-based Otec FM on Monday.
