LGBT+ Rights Ghana Open National Head Office In Accra (Pictures)

The LGBT+ Rights Ghana has officially opened its National Head Office in Accra.

The LGBT+ Rights Ghana is a Movement of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Intersex, Queer, and Allies championing the fight for freedom for LGBT+ persons in Ghana.

The LGBT+ also used the occasion to raise funds.

The Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Gregory Andrews graced the occasion.

Organizers of the event explained that the opening of the office was in line with its call for respect for human rights.

Meanwhile, the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values says it is against the LGBTQI having its office in the country.

It is therefore calling for the immediate closure of the office.

It said "The presence of the LGBTQI office disregards the cultural values and sanity of the country"
