A group calling itself, Express Aid Foundation has donated school uniforms, drinks and an undisclosed amount to pupils of T.I Ahmaddiya basic school at Mampong, a town in the Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
According to the group, it consist of an army of helpers who have come together to contribute their quota to the development of the country.
Founder of the Express Aid Foundation, Jullien Kwasi Parry in an interview said "What we do basically is that we identify areas in the country that are in need and less privileged."
"So this year, we settled on coming to T.I Ahmaddiya basic school around Mampong and we are here to support them with a few basic school supplies"
The group noted that education is very important for the development of every country and therefore it was justifiable to contribute to the molding of future leaders.
"We will use this medium to also call on other NGOs and foundations to help support such schools especially those in the rural areas as there are so many things that we can do to help"
The Chief and students thanked Express Aid Foundation and assured that the uniform, drinks and money will be used appropriately.
