News reaching Thinknewsonline.com reveals that 17 persons have lost their lives in a ghastly accident on the Offinso – Abofour highway in the Ashanti Region.
According to sources, the other 17 who are in critical condition and battling for their lives are also receiving medical treatment at the St. Patrick Hospital at Offinso. Speaking on an Accra-based radio station, the Head of the National Road Safety Authority in the Ashanti Region, Madam Simbiat Wiredu confident that such an unfortunate incident had happened.
She disclosed that the ghastly accident occurred around 3:30am on Monday November 1, 2021.
"The 17 who lost their lives were head potters and their children"
The deceased are said to be 10 adults and 7 children.
