A suspected thief was beaten to death and set ablaze by a mob in Idjerhe community, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State on Tuesday morning, November 24. It was gathered that the suspect, who was part of a two-man gang accosted a lady with a toy gun and snatched her mobile phone and an undisclosed sum of money. President Akufo-Addo has expressed outrage at what he calls a campaign of lies and propaganda being waged by the flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama. According to the president, the former president is struggling to convince the Ghanaian electorate with his campaign message hence he has resorted to untruths. The president made these comments at a rally at East Legon in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency to wrap up his two-day tour of the Greater Accra Region.
