The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Ghanaian music icon, Charles Kojo Ofosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.

The visit, which took place ahead of the one-week observation slated for August 30, at the University of Ghana Sports Complex, was to commiserate with the bereaved family and receive updates on funeral preparations.

Mr. Yohuno, accompanied by members of the Police Management Board (POMAB), lauded Daddy Lumba’s enduring musical legacy, describing his songs as a source of personal motivation.

In a lighthearted moment, the IGP shared how he is often moved to reward the Police Band whenever they perform Lumba’s classic hit, “Yentie Obiaa.”
