DOME-KWABENYA: "We Were Impressed With Turn-Outs And Good Behaviour of Voters" - EC Officials


Although the expected number of registered voters could not make it to the various polling centers scattered across the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency to cast their votes in the just-ended polls, officials from the Electoral Commission of Ghana say they were impressed with the turn-out and good behavior of the electorates.


According to some officials, the voters exhibited good behaviors likewise adhering to the covid-19 protocols.



ThinkNews Online further gathered most of the security personnel deployed to maintain peace and order in the Constituency had less job to do whiles others were on holidays.


With the exception of Musuku, a community in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency which saw a bit of confusion due to the late start of voting, it is emerging that majority of the polling centers began the process at exactly 7 am.



As part of measures of preventing the spread of the deadly coronavirus, all centers visited by ThinkNews Online saw a covid-19 officer with a thermometer gun and hand sanitizers.


ThinkNews Online can also report that although some regions were affected by rain, it was completely a sunny day at Dome-Kwabenya likewise most parts of the Greater Accra Region.
