BREAKING NEWS: "Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings Has Not Withdrawn From 2020 Election" - NDP


The Leadership of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has confirmed that its Flagbearer, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has not withdrawn from contesting as a Presidential Candidate in the upcoming December Elections.


According to the NDP, the publication was false and untrue.

Addressing Journalists in Accra, the Secretary-General of the NDP Party, Alhaji Frimpong "Allow our Flagbearer to mourn in peace. She has not spoken to anyone about withdrawing from the December polls. The publication which was making waves on Monday was fake"


Alhaji Frimpong also stated that the NDC party is panicking adding they still cannot come to terms with Nana Konadu contesting despite the demise of her husband.

He further explained that no matter whatever the NDC plans, it will not deter Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings from contesting in the December polls.


"Those babies with sharp teeth were the same people bashing Rawlings when he was alive now, they are the same people crying because he is dead. Such people are two-faced individuals" he fumed.

"We will make sure we get the true Cadres to desert the NDC party and come to NDP so win the December election" he added.


Background

On Monday, November 23, news broke of the Flagbearer of the NDP party, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings had withdrawn from the December polls.

It emerged that the withdrawal was a sign of respect for her late husband.
