  • Ejisu SHTS Student Hospitalized After Attempts To Commit Suicide Over Alleged Theft Failed

    A second-year student of the Ejisu Secondary Technical Senior High School has been hospitalized after drinking liquid soap in what is believed to be an attempted suicide on campus. This was after an Assistant Headmaster locked him up with a colleague, overnight, in his office, for stealing the school’s electric stabilizer on Tuesday night, July 21, 2020. According to school authorities, the two were brought in by a taxi driver who allegedly caught them climbing over the school wall with the machine. It was late in the night and school management were not around. Headmistress too wasn’t around so I did not want to take any decision outside them so I decided to keep them in my office so that the following morning (Wednesday), when the head and other members come, we sit on it and trash the issue,” he said. Shouts by the colleague from inside the office attracted attention staff and students who found the victim foaming from the mouth.     Ghanaian Rapper and Songwriter, Gambo Bashir has revealed that he has not made any comments which seeks to tag the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as a corrupt entity as speculated by some media outlets. According to the Singer, since both personalities have the same names, his image was mistaken used by some media outlets for that of the retired Ghanaian footballer. He explained that the unfortunate incident created an impression that he was speaking against corruption at the Ghana Football Association. However, the fast-rising singer and "Kwacha" hitmaker said “I told GFA not to invite me because of corruption”. Gambo is a young Ghanaian musician who released his debut track "Kwacha" on February 5. Born in Ghana, the musician left to Guyana at an early age of 5 years but returned to Ghana at the age of 11 to continue school his basic education at SAPS and completed there in 2012. He furthered his education at Legon Presbyterian Boys, where his music passion was ignited and his music journey began.     An unknown Metro Mass driver has found himself in trouble after slapping the personal driver of Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong over a confrontation. According to Eye Witness, the Metro Mass driver carelessly scratched the Escalade of the sitting MP and took to his heels. After a hot chase, the Metro Mass driver was apprehended and in an attempt to resolve the issue, the bus driver out of anger pounced on Kennedy Agyapong's driver landing him with a slap.
