“Your Credibility Is Zero, Free SHS, Free TVET Can't Be Trusted In Your Hands” – Prez Punches Mahama

President Akufo-Addo has thrown a heavy punch at the Flagbearer of the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama saying Free SHS, Free TVET cannot be trusted into his hands since his credibility on Education is zero.

According to President Akufo-Addo, the NDC while in office, had a hard time trying to run even their watered-down version of their so-called progressively free education adding the former President could not review it.

Speaking at the launch of the 2020 Manifesto of the NPP in Cape Coast on Saturday, President Akufo-Addo said “We have no reason to believe the NDC presidential candidate’s newly proclaimed conversion to free SHS and free TVET. For eight years, he and his party were loud in their assertions that they did not believe in free SHS and free TVET, they did not like the idea, they rubbished it at every opportunity, and they proclaimed that it would destroy Ghana’s educational system”

He added his government has succeeded at an equitable distribution which means all parts of the country have been touched by the party’s policies adding the NPP has delivered value for money.

“I take pride in the fact that free SHS and free TVET have been delivered, and our young people, and their parents and guardians, know that they will no longer be forced to stop school at JHS level because of financial difficulties” he said.

President Akufo-Addo explained saying it was not easily done stressing his party intends to protect it, and prevent any so-called ‘review’ or cancellation.
