Outspoken Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has commented on the ongoing power crisis in the country, yet again.
The actress is known for calling out the government when the systems seem not to be working especially when a power crisis occurs.
She has in a recent tweet asked President Aufo-Addo to fix the seeming menace. Yvonne referred him to the erstwhile Mahama administration that was under immense pressure to fix the nearly four years of power instability.
She added that “we are tired of leaders not caring about the people.”
She tweeted “Mr President @NAkufoAddo remember when @JDMahama was in Power? Remember the pressure everyone gave him, including you….because of DUMSOR? Ok good! FIX IT!!!! Ghanaians deserve BETTER! We are tired of LEADERS not caring about the PEOPLE. #dumsormuststop.
Ghana is currently facing some power challenges, but the Ghana Grid Company has assured that the situation was due to the maintenance and replacement of some obsolete machines needed to generate power.
