Captain of the Senior National Team, Black Stars, Andre Dede Ayew has rendered an apology to the nation for their abysmal performance at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021) in Cameroon.
According to Dede Ayew, they (players) did not make Ghanaians proud.
In an interview monitored by Thinknewsonline.com, the Captain said "We didn't make Ghanaians proud. We are sorry"
He further apologised for not taking the team to the next stage.
"We are very disappointed in ourselves because this is not Ghana" Dede Ayew said.
Background It will be recalled that the Black Stars were kicked out in the ongoing AFCON 2021.
The Black Stars were kicked out after losing to Comoros.
