Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has called on Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming election, emphasizing the need to safeguard the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
Speaking at a gathering in Nsawam following a victory walk and the opening of a new NPP constituency office, Annoh-Dompreh urged party members to rally support for Dr. Bawumia.
He expressed confidence in a fair election outcome, predicting that the NPP would emerge victorious.
“The NPP will win this election, and we must not be discouraged or intimidated by the actions of the NDC,” Annoh-Dompreh stated, calling for a vigorous door-to-door campaign to secure votes for the party’s flagbearer.
“We must all work hard to break the eight,” he added, referencing the NPP's goal to secure a third consecutive term in government.
In his address, Annoh-Dompreh also criticized the leadership of Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, describing it as partisan and favorable to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He noted, however, that the NPP respects Bagbin's role but remains resolute in its commitment to securing victory.
The event saw thousands of NPP supporters, including regional executives, who joined Annoh-Dompreh in a spirited march to demonstrate their support for Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid.
