VOLTA REGION: Remains Of Hohoe Queen Mother, Mamaga Dewotornyo I Laid To Rest

Thinknewsonline.com can confirm that the remains of the Queen-mother of Hohoe, Mamaga Dewotornyo I has been laid to rest.
The Late Queen-mother who was known in private life as Madam Elizabeth Yawavi Dzandu was said to have ruled the Gbi Traditional Area in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region for 52 years.
She was enstooled at the age of 29years.
Late Elizabeth Dzandu was named Mamaga Dewotornyo I after her enstoolment.
Her funeral was attended by the Chiefs and people of the Gbi Traditional Area in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region.
She was from the royal families of Asamani and Kadrake gates respectively of Torkorni clan – Hohoe.
