Updated: Dec 29, 2020
Despite the increasing number of coronavirus cases recorded in the country, some scores of Ghanaian and Nigerian youths have sort to flout the protocols as they flooded a popular pub at Mile 7, a suburb of Accra to have fun with loved ones.
Counting over 200 patrons of the pub, ThinkNews Online could confirm that not even a single person was seen either in a nose mask or face shield.
Further checks by ThinkNews Online revealed that most patrons of the popular pub believe, the covid-19 had reduced while others were of the view that the virus was no longer in the country.
It will be recalled that the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye in a news conference hinted and appealed to the general public to adhere to the covid-19 protocols.
Addressing Journalists, Dr. Kuma Aboagye said "We must adhere to the covid-19 protocols. The virus is still in the country. Adhering to the protocols will help reduce the spread of the wide-spread pandemic.
Aside the non-wearing of face mask and face shield, ThinkNews Online could again confirm that there was no social distancing.
