The Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, and the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia have together taken their covid-19 vaccination injection at the Police Hospital in Accra.
According to him, Ghana is the first African country to benefit from the facility adding that it was under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and the hard work of the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
He said “We are taking this vaccine today to assure the public and Ghanaians that, it is safe. It is safe to be immunized. The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has assured us and we are very confident in the safety of this vaccine”
Vice President asked Ghanaians to be cooperative in the vaccination exercise.
