TUMU–KOWIE: 3 Die In Gory Motor Accident

Information reaching ThinkNews Online indicates that a gory motor accident has claimed the lives of three youths on the Tumu–Kowie road in the Sissala East Municipality.
It is emerging that although the ghastly accident which occurred on Sunday had 4 people involved, information gathered reveals 3 died on the spot while the survivor is battling for his life at the Tumu Municipal Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as; Ibrahim Wahid, 11 years, Suleman Inusah, 20 years, Aziz Hafiz, 25 years and Moro Fataw, 29 years old.
Narrating the incident, an Eyewitness who spoke on anonymity hinted that the riders were not wearing helmets while speeding unnecessarily.
ThinkNews Online has gathered that most rider users in the Municipality have turned a deaf ear to the wearing of nose mask.
An officer at the Tumu Municipal Police Accident CCentre, Inspector Thomas Amoah said “Many motorbike riders are disobeying the law on wearing of the helmet due to lack of enforcement of the law. The death of the three might have been avoided if they were wearing helmets and assured that the Police would enforce the law on wearing a crash helmet so as to save lives"
