SWAG mourns Former President Ebo Quansah

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) is heartbroken to announce the passing of its former President, Mr. Ebo Quansah.
Mr. Quansah, a revered figure in Ghanaian sports journalism, served SWAG with distinction and unwavering dedication.
Rising through the ranks from Deputy Secretary to Secretary-General, he ultimately led the association as its fifth President from 2001 to 2007.
His leadership, integrity, and commitment left an indelible mark on the organization and the broader sports fraternity.
Until his passing, Mr. Quansah served as a Patron of SWAG, offering his vast experience and wise counsel to the next generation of sports journalists.

Ebo Quansah's remarkable contribution to the growth of sports journalism in Ghana and his tireless efforts to promote sporting excellence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His legacy is one of mentorship, dedication, and an unshakable passion for elevating Ghanaian sports to global standards.
The SWAG Executive, in collaboration with the family of the late Mr. Quansah, will provide further details regarding funeral arrangements in due course.
