A Leading Member of the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rojo Mettle Nunoo has hinted that the Supreme Court ruling on the 2020 Election Petition hearing is a total recipe for disaster since the country could not hold the Electoral Commission (EC) to account.
In an interview monitored by ThinkNews Online, he said "Returning Officer can perform abysmally and get away with it. You declare multiple figures and we don't examine those multiple figures"
He further said "Where's the strict proof and then you say they shouldn't bring documentation for everybody to see"
It will be recalled that the Supreme Court a few days ago gave its judgement on the much-talked-about 2020 Election Petition hearing.
