SPORTS: "We Need A Sports Stadium In Bechem" - Bechem United's CEO To President Akufo-Addo


CEO of Bechem United, Prof Nana Kwasi Darlyn has taken advantage of President Addo visit to Bechem in the Ahafo Region to push for a sports stadium.


According to him, it will help generate revenue and also spice up the love for the game among the youth.

He said "Government should consider citing one of the stadia at Bechem for the people of Ahafo since it is the only town with a premier league team in the region and beyond. This will help with the development of talents in the various sports disciplines and not just soccer"


Upon meeting the minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Prof Darlyn ceased the opportunity to express his admiration for the great reforms he is introducing at the Educational front and wished the ban on sporting activities will be lifted soon.

Dr. Prempeh urged him and his colleague sports administrators to engage with the sports minister on all issues since the Akufo-Addo government is committed to the development of sports.


The CEO of Bechem United and the Hon. Minister of Education met at the inspection of the newly built Educational office complex at Bechem.
