Information reaching ThinkNews Online indicates die-hard fan of Ghanaian club, Accra Hearts of Oak, Shomo Quaye is dead.
The sad incident occurred on Wednesday evening after he was knocked down by a speeding vehicle.
It is emerging that the Hearts of Oak fan was on his way to watch the UEFA Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Lyon.
Sources say, the soccer fan was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital but was reported dead on arrival.
Some eye-witnesses say the diver who allegedly knocked and killed Shamo Quaye was driving a vehicle with registration number AS 9346 - 11.
The sad news was announced on Facebook by Seasoned Journalist, Saddick Adams.
