The Board Member of Continental Club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has joined thousands of Ghanaians to celebrate and wish Ghana's oldest football club, Accra Hearts of Oak, a happy 109th birthday.
According to him, 11/11/2020 marks another anniversary in the history of the great club adding the entire team thanks God for the vision and courage given to the founders in 1911.
In a birthday message captioned 'Facing The Future With Confidence And Excitement, Our 109th Birthday Message', he said "As we celebrate, we wish to thank all our cherished supporters both home and abroad, our sympathizers and all those who have in diverse ways contributed to the great history, tradition and the unique Phobia brand"
He added 11/11/2020 is undoubtedly a day that reminds the Phobian fraternity of not only its great tradition and history but also the huge opportunities which lie ahead of the club and how far they can take the team.
He commended Togbe Afede XIV for his unflinching support and assistance to the club.
Meanwhile, some scores of social media users have seized the opportunity to celebrate and share some great memories of the club.
Although most of them shared pictures of the club's logo with congratulatory words, some section used the opportunity to make a mockery of fierce rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotok as videos of the 2005 Confederation Cup finals among other matches in which the Phobiams defeated the Porcupine Warriors were shared.
Clubs such as Kotoko, Dreams Fc, Legon Cities, Medeama SC, and Elmina Sharks have taken to their Twitter handle to celebrate and wish Accra Hearts of Oak, a happy birthday and best of luck.
