Social Media Reacts To 60% Sale of Golden Tulip Hotel To Lebanese Company, Lancaster (SCREENSHOTS)


Some scores of social media users have taken to Twitter to express disappointment in the Akufo-Addo government over the 60% sale of Golden Tulip Hotel to Lebanese Company, Lancaster.


In series of tweets sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, Ernest Arhinful tweeted "Apparently, the government has also sold 60% shares of the Golden Tulip Hostels to a Lebanese company called Lancaster. Effective today, the hostel’s name change to Lancaster Accra"


StatsGH also tweeted "The Golden Tulip hotels in Ghana are owned 40% by our Government and 60% by Libya.

Our shares in the company has been sold to a Lebanese company called Lancaster. Many are seething over the shady deal led by the Finance Minister. More soon!"
