Former Black Stars midfielder, Michael Essien has received bashing from scores of social media users after he made a post supporting Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT)
The former Black Stars player who doubles as an Ex-Chelsea star took to his Instagram accounted and said "We see you, we hear you, we support you. Our LGBTQIA plus Community in Ghana #ghanasupportequality🇬🇭🙏"
However, in series of tweets sighted by Thinknews Online, Malik Ofori @malikofori said "I’m more concerned about the “we” Michael Essien used in his post"
Mr Prεssdεnt @Opresii said "I now understand why Michael Essien played a lot of games under Mourinho cos he had no ass left to sit on the bench"
Nsawam Michael Scofield @OkwasiaBiNti added "Michael Essien slack big time. It will cost him more than just losing followers on Instagram"
