The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has hinted that her Ministry will be partnering with Zoomlion Ghana Limited to fumigate all schools and markets across the country.
According to her, this will help reduce the spread of the virus and also kill other insects.
Addressing Journalists, she said "Today's exercise is very useful and it is also going to help the ministry. With the help of the Jaspong Group of Company, we will strongly fight against the pandemic"
She also hinted that the Ministry's doors are open for stakeholders who will come and collaborating with them for fighting against the disease.
Madam Cecilia said "There is a new strain that has come on board and we are praying to God that the government should give more PPEs and masks to the students in all the schools and let us make sure to practice good hygiene by washing our hands regularly and keep a cleaning environment"
She however charged the media to be circumspect about their reportage.
