Day 3 of the #ReOccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration in Accra concluded with the Ghana Police Service removing barricades and reopening roads to vehicular traffic.
This comes after heightened tensions earlier in the day, when two more demonstrators were arrested by the police.
The 3-day protests was organized by a group calling itself, Democracy Hub.
The protest sought to address concerns about the state of some Ghanaian river bodies due to galamsey activities.
Traffic flow around the protest area has since resumed, bringing some relief to commuters.
