The Running Mate for the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has given an helping hand to the Ghanaian lady whose husband abandoned her after she gave birth to quadruplets.
The 27-year-old mother gave birth on July 19 and reports say her predicament was disseminated to the public for help.
Before Prof's assistance, some compassionate health workers contributed monies to take care of the unemployed mother.
As a compassionate mother, she decided to support her with GH¢2,000 and promised to do more.
The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle and former Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah made the presentation on behalf of Prof. Opoku-Agyemang.
The unemployed mother is said to be a resident of Sefwi Adukrom, a farming community with her husband.
It is emerging that they already have two children before the arrival of the quadruplets.
