The Minority Members of Parliament (MPs) on Tuesday clashed with officers from the Ghana Police Service (GPS) as they presented their petition to the Electoral Commission (EC).

With MPS numbering 50, the Minority Members of Parliament did not only cross the police barricade but chanted songs as they expressed their displeasure.

Clad in black, the Members of Parliament who thronged the EC HeadOffice were stopped by the Police Officers.

It is emerging that some of the officers were shoved onto the ground while the confrontation was ongoing.

Some NDC MPs described the situation as unfortunate adding they were deprived of petitioning the EC.

Although Journalists present were deprived of knowing the content of the petition, some NDC MPs were of the view that they will not accept the results from the EC.
