The Flagbearer for the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has hinted that Ghana will be transformed into an advanced country if he is elected President after the December polls.
According to Mr. Mahama, transforming the country is a sacred mission of the NDC adding it will come to reality if given the opportunity.
In a statement released ahead of the party's manifesto launch, the NDC Flagbearer said "It is our sacred mission to turn Ghana into an advanced nation as soon as possible! It is our moral obligation to be bold and to aim for greatness!”
He also added that per the current crop of trials being faced in the country, the NDC through its new standards will make Ghana, a better place to live in.
“'Good enough' is no longer good enough! To prosper and thrive, we need a fundamental change! We need to set our standards and expectations far higher than “good enough”! If we settle for “good enough”, we settle for a slow death of our very soul and of our pride.”
Speaking on his second coming, the Flagbearer who doubles as Ghana's Former President hinted he has unfinished business stressing, he is coming back to fix things.
“In all honesty, I didn't take the decision to run for a second term as President neither easily, nor quickly. I didn't jump into it. I did it out of a sense of urgency after I began to contemplate more and more thoroughly about our vulnerabilities as a nation. Below is the statement from the former President
