The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) is cautioning the general public to pay heed to weather warnings and act accordingly to keep safe.
According to NADMO, the cautioning follows a report from the Ghana Meteorological Agency (G-Met) over a possible rainfall on Wednesday evening.
In a statement signed by the Director, Communications, George Ayisi, it said "Reports from Ghana Meteorological Agency (G-Met) indicate that there will be more rains in the night along the Coast Cities of Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast and Takoradi"
The statement also added that citizens living in such areas are warned to take precautionary measures to stay safe, especially those living in flood-prone areas.
Mr. Ayisi stressed that such people are advised to move to higher grounds and identified Safe Havens in their communities to avoid danger.
NADMO says it is cautioning the public since it places premium on the safety of lives and properties.
