Host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere, has been released from the custody of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) following the agreement and fulfillment of revised bail conditions.
The new bail terms, secured by the Jospong Group of Companies, replaced the initial requirements which Adom-Otchere was unable to meet due to the lack of landed property in Ghana.
He was released in the company of his legal team, led by former Attorney General Godfred Dame.
Despite his release, sources confirm that Adom-Otchere has been recalled by the OSP to complete outstanding administrative procedures, as the case remains under investigation.
He faces charges related to a revenue assurance contract allegedly awarded to a private firm without full board approval during his time at GACL.
The OSP, in a statement issued on Friday, August 1, confirmed that the revised bail conditions meet the objectives of the original terms and reaffirmed that the matter is still being actively pursued.
