Founder and Leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor and Oheneba Nana Asiedu, a journalist with Wontumi radio have been sued GHc1 Million after making defamatory comments about NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
According to the Plaintiff, Mary Awusi, she took that action after the two tagged Former President Mahama as Papa No'.
Aside suing, it is emerging that Madam Awusi has appealed to the Accra High Court to force the trio to render an apology for such utterance.
Madam Awusi added Akua Donkor who is the first defendant on Wontumi radio alleged that John Mahama is the mystery man in the ongoing ‘papa no’ saga.
She however indicated that the comments has tarnished not just the image of Ex. President Mahama but have also turned him into a public ridicule.
Wontumi Radio and Oheneba Nana Asiedu, the reporter who conducted the interview are party to the offence as they did not distance their platform from the comments of Akua Donkor.
