"NPP will do whatever it takes to secure victory in 2024 elections" - Bryan Acheampong

Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong has reaffirmed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) unyielding commitment to winning the 2024 general elections.

Speaking at a charged campaign rally in Nsawam, the Abetifi Member of Parliament left no room for doubt about the party’s determination to retain power in the upcoming December polls.

Mr. Acheampong's message was clear: the NPP is fully prepared to do whatever it takes to secure victory, underscoring that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) stands no chance against the ruling party.

"I have said that if the NDC likes it or not, they will not win the 2024 elections. They would not win. You can check their records. They would not win. The NPP would win the elections," he stated emphatically.

The Minister pointed to the extensive network of committed party members and supporters from various religious and traditional backgrounds as evidence of the NPP's readiness.

"We are a political party that has pastors, imams, and traditionalists, so whatever means we would take to win the elections, we would do so," he declared, reinforcing the NPP’s determination to pursue all available strategies to ensure their victory.

Mr. Acheampong’s comments have sparked significant discussion, particularly his assertion that the NPP would employ every possible method to win, reflecting the high stakes and fierce competition anticipated in the 2024 elections.

His statement, "Burn the sea if you don’t understand," serves as a dramatic metaphor for the lengths to which the party is willing to go, highlighting the intensity of the political battle ahead.

This bold proclamation from a key member of the government sets the tone for what is expected to be one of the most closely contested elections in Ghana’s recent history.

As the campaign heats up, Bryan Acheampong’s words will likely resonate with both NPP supporters and opponents, further fueling the discourse surrounding the upcoming polls.
