My Take On Free SHS, A Blessing Or Curse?
I have heard analysts and people with insight pertaining education say it has the power to break the societal cycle of poverty in Africa because its only through education that the society will be enlightened on better living styles or even how people can improve their living standards.
Hence, free education at the secondary level is a positive push to the country and this will sell Ghana to the world since more youths will be thoughtful and less ignorant of things that matter in life.
Also students would stand better chances of being their own bosses since education would sharpen their skills and abilities to befit the market and hence foster an entrepreneurial climate where they will be able to start and run business withstanding all the internal and external barriers and posses virtues such as risk taking, persistent, innovative and independent.
