The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong has touted achievements of the Akufo-Addo government saying his region has been blessed with massive developmental projects.
According to him, the region has seen major developments in road construction which has brought massive development to the region.
The Minister touted the government's achievements in the Region during the Information Ministry's Regional Minister's Press Briefing held in Accra on Sunday.
Mr Kwame Acheampong, stressed that, as they took office in 2017, the region had just about 145 kilometres of roads but they have increased the roads to 206 kilometres representing 142% of roads constructed since they took office till date.
The Minister noted that, the government believes better road network in the region is the leading cause of development thereby, they have constructed steel brigdes to also help link the various communities in the region.
The Regional Minister also outlined some of the achievements done in the health sector as he said, as part of the construction of the Agenda 111 Hospitals.
He noted that government is also constructing a new Regional Hospital at Effiduase while other hospitals are also ongoing vigorously at the other sites.
