Angel Fm's morning show host, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known in the media cycles as Captain Smart has confessed saying his previous relationships failed due to certain mistakes he made in the past.
According to the Ace broadcaster, his previous relationships did not go well because he failed to involve his parents in his decisions.
Speaking on an Accra-based radio station, Captain Smart said "The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life is inviting my parents to my wedding but not involving them…that affected every part of my relationship and I have always apologized to them"
He added he sidelined his parents thinking he could take his own decisions and call the shots since he was a man but little did he know it would affect him.
“Initially, I thought once you have money, you can marry…I thought I have everything so I can go and marry, but after everything, that was when I realised I have been foolish…,” he said.
Captain Smart used the opportunity to urge the youth to always involve their parents in their relationships and decision-making.
“That’s when I realised that in every relationship, you should let your parents know…,” he said.
The Former Adom Fm show host also noted, that has been the secret behind the success in his present marriage.
“This one, I involved my uncles, my aunties and my parents and after this, I go home and I feel I am a human being…don’t drop your parents when you are entering into any relationship…,” he added.
