Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah said "Let me put on record that in 1952, we had the first 12 women were enlisted into the Police Service and as at 1999, 38 years after, only 2,000 were enlisted into the Ghana Police Service. In 2021, we have 10,909 is the total number of women in the service"
