Information reaching ThinkNews Online indicates that the Ashanti Regional Police Command has grabbed another suspect in connection to the murder of the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford.
According to the police, they grabbed the new suspect five days after their first of five people linked with the death of the slain MP.
Despite the scanty nature of the identity of the first five suspects, the police say it will stop at nothing to ensure that it grabs all associated with the gruesome murder.
Following a post on Twitter and sighted by ThinkNews Online, the Ghana Police Service said "Five Arrested. Five persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of the Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman Constituency, Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford."
The Ghana Police added that the five who were earlier on arrested are being taken through lawful Police procedures.
It said "Further updates will be given in due time"
The new suspect is said to have been arrested at his hideout in Kumasi whiles the other five were fished out in the Central Region.
