The Food and Drugs Authority has revealed that management of the East Legon branch of Marwako Fast Food Limited have destroyed some food items under investigations in the controversial food-poisioning brouhaha.
According to the FDA, the hampered food stuffs was done following an unapproved and unilateral decision of the management of Marwako.
In a statement sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, it said "The process to establish the root cause of the contamination halls been unfortunately hampered by the unapproved and unilateral decision of the management of Marwako to destroy some of thee food items whilst the Investigation was in progress"
It added that the FDA has applied the appropriate regulatory sanctions and is to also monitor the implementation of the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) by the management of Marwako.
