Man, 49, Impregnates His Own Daughter, 13, At Wassa Nkyease

49-year-old Osmanu has impregnated his 13-year-old daughter, Ama, at Wassa Nkyease in the Western North region.

Reports indicate the man has been having sex with the daughter for a while and is currently six months pregnant. According to Angel FM’s Nana Ackaah’s report monitored by Ghanasonline.com, 13-year-old Ama stays with the father and mother with four other siblings.

Ama is the third born amongst the children.

After realizing the girl was pregnant, the mother reported the incident to the chief of Nkyease, who also reported to his superior chief, Nana Kwame Dankah, chief of Wantram.

Nana Dankah summoned the family to perform rituals to purify the land for the curse brought upon it by the act.

Slaughtering a ram with its blood spilled in a tray, young Ama was shaved to carry the blood to walk through the streets of the community, whilst his father, Osmanu, sprinkled the blood from the tray.
