A three-story church building belonging to the Church of Promise has collapsed at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region, trapping some members.
According to reports, about 65 worshippers were in the building at the time of the collapse.
As of now, four people had been rescued.
One dead body has also been retrieved from the wreckage.
A bulldozer is currently on site trying to move the wreckage so that lives could be saved.
According to Kyei-Boateng, the voices of those trapped inside could be heard with some screaming for help.
