LOCAL NEWS: Fire Guts Parts Of Kantamanto Market (Video/Pics)

ThinkNews Online can confirm that fire has gutted some parts of the Kantamanto market in Accra.
According to sources, the fire outbreak started 11pm on Tuesday night.
A further check by ThinkNews Online indicates that the fire spread to other shops as of 2pm.
Although the cause of the fire outbreak is unknown, it is emerging that out of the three fire service trucks which rushed to the scene, only one had water in it.
Some shop owners who spoke to the media say they could not retrieve anything after the fire team managed to quench the fire.
In other development, information gathered reveals that the recent fire outbreaks in markets are a deliberate attempt by some groups of Ghanaians.
Minutes after an Accra-based media house reported the burning of eight shops in Koforidua on Tuesday afternoon, a Facebook user named, Daniel Tee commented saying "We are burning down Kantamanto tomorrow"
The Fire Service says it has commenced investigations into the cause of the outbreak.
