LOCAL NEWS: "Choose Peace Over Chaos" – Agyin-Asare To Mahama

The Founder of the Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare has appealed to the Flagbearer of the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama to choose peace over chaos as he registers his displeasure over the recently held Presidential Election.

According to the Anointed man of God, going to court will not only waste time but might end up like the 2012 case.

Addressing congregants during a service Sunday, he said “To him, John Mahama who is contesting the presidential results we pray you do it peacefully. In 2012 when a similar thing happened it was not easy in this country, also a number of people have already lost their lives,”

Bishop Agyin-Asare further used the Sunday service to charge the Police hierarchy to look into and arrest all those involved in the Techiman shooting incident.

He said “Nobody needs to die because of an election, we therefore condemn the use of firearms on unarmed civilians. We ask that proper investigations be conducted in the deaths of people who wanted to defend their votes because democracy is not a war" The man of God however appealed to Ghanaians to continue to pray for peace to prevail.
