Leicester City Qualify For FA Cup Final After Decades Of Struggle

Leicester City have for the first time in over five decades qualified for the English FA Cup final.

The Foxes defeated Southampton 1-0 in their FA Cup semifinal encounter at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening, April 19, 2021, kind courtesy of K. Iheanacho’s 55th-minute goal.

Leicester will be facing Chelsea in the final on May 15, 2021, at about 5:30 pm. The venue for the final is Wembley Stadium.

The Foxes have played Chelsea seven times in the FA Cup and lost to the Blues on all seven occasions.

The last time Leicester City was in the FA Cup final was 52 years ago.
