LABONE: Joy Business Holds Jobs, Salaries Roundtable


Joy Business, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group Limited has organized a jobs and salaries roundtable discussion aimed stimulating a national conversation on jobs that will push for policy change/new policy initiative.

It has emerged that the covid-19 has caused lots of people to lose their jobs across the globe with Ghana having its own story to tell.


In Ghana, the hardest hit sectors are tourism, media, among others.

The Ghana Employers’ Association and Organized Labour are pushing for a meeting with the Finance Ministry to among other issues to deliberate on how government can absorb a portion of workers’ salaries to help provide some relief.


The conversation will look at sustainable solutions and the preservation of current jobs.
